Colchester Adult Learning Association (CALA) is a community-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for all adults to pursue their learning goals. CALA helps adults in Truro and communities in Colchester County, Nova Scotia, improve their skills in reading, writing, and math to prepare for further education including High School equivalency prep, employment readiness, and other training programs.
CALA also offers essential skills programming in the areas of digital literacy, communications, finding and using information, managing learning, and engaging with others. Programs follow the Nova Scotia School of Adult Learning (NSSAL) E3 curriculum.
