Adults are never too old to learn, and a wide variety of workshops offered in Colchester County this fall will help people learn many skills necessary for today’s day and age. "We're going to incorporate some much-needed, great life skills for people that are trying to live in the digital world, in our workshops."

CALA's Virtual Open House
Responding to the needs of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, CALA opened new doors at 966-B Prince Street in the summer of 2020. This move, into a newly renovated space, helped us continue to provide adult literacy programs (in person and virtual), while following the Nova Scotia Health Authority guidelines for opening. Our location is a welcoming, friendly, and fully accessible space , with two classrooms, private offices, and plenty of room for social distancing. Due to appointment-only policies during this time, we hosted a virtual open house to celebrate our new Learning Centre.
